Every dance season is filled with peaks and valleys!
Think about that for a moment and really let that sink in. At this very moment you may be going through a crisis at your studio. And no matter how bad it feels or truly is, you will get through it!
How do I know? Because you always have and always will.
When it rains the sun will eventually come out. You know that, but sometimes when we are in the storm it is hard to see the light that is out ahead of us.
We also know it’s not all doom and gloom!
Here’s a thought, really take time to rejoice and celebrate all of the good that goes on in your studio. After running a dance school for 36 years, looking back there have been so many great moments. Don’t miss out on enjoying all of those great and inspiring occasions that take place. Sometimes we can brush past those to quickly. So hang on to those moments for as long as you can.
Let’s face it, all those great times should take up as much of your time as any other situation that happens at your studio.
Let’s create a plan for good times!
Not everything that happens at your studio is by accident. You can and must find ways for good things to come your way. The energy and atmosphere at your studio are created by you. Read that one a few times. Setting the right example and charting the course if part of the studio owners responsibly. You are after all the leader of the pack.

Here is a little project I would like for you to try…
Write on top of a piece of paper… If not now, when?
Now make a list of the things you would like to achieve this year. Now next to each of those topics write at least 3 bullet points of what action you can take to get it done. Then next to those action plans write a date that you want to start.
Now proceed!
Try out the” If not now, when?” mentality at your studio and see how it works for you. Let’s get things moving in the right direction and make this your best year ever!
