Marsha George

Marsha George was born in Manchester, England. She graduated from the Northern Ballet School in Manchester in 2004 where she studied under the direction of Principle Patricia Macdonald, Eric Carpenter and David Needham. She trained in all disciplines including RAD Ballet, ISTD Modern and Tap. During her time at Northern Ballet School Marsha worked for the BBC on ‘When Disco Ruled the World’ and ‘I love 1970’ and was invited to perform as a dancer in the 2002 Commonwealth Games. After graduation, Marsha toured internationally in major musicals including Saturday Night Fever. Marsha graduated from the RAD in 2013 on the Professional Dancers Teaching Diploma graduating with Distinction. She was then invited to become a member of the faculty at the Royal Academy of Dance School in London, teaching RAD examination syllabus classes and musical theatre. She has taught on the RAD summer schools in Singapore, London, and Dartington. Marsha teaches a wide range of genres including RAD Ballet, Musical Theatre, Jazz, ISTD Modern and Tap. Her students have achieved great success in exams and have also gained full time places at Tring Park School of Performing Arts, Sylvia Young Theatre School, Redroofs Theatre School.
