Tracy Silver began her dance career with The Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater which led to working professionally for choreographers Jerome Robbins, Michael Peters, Patricia Birch, Wayne Cilento, and Jaime Rogers. As an actress, she has had the good fortune to be directed by Award winning directors such as Sidney Poitier, Herbert Berghof, Gene Reynolds, and Milton Katselas, as well as starring opposite the likes of Burt Reynolds, John Glover, and Gary Sinise. Her experience as an actress and dancer, combined with her experience as a director and teacher, has helped fuse her choreography with her ability to tell a story. Her work has been described as, “ powerful, unpredictable, and exciting to watch.”
